Penganjuran Majlis di Rumah Ibadat Lain Tidak Salah - Mujahid

Masyarakat Islam di negara ini dinasihat supaya tidak fobia dengan sebarang penganjuran majlis di rumah ibadat agama lain kerana ia tidak bertentangan dengan ajaran Islam.

Menteri di Jabatan Perdana Menteri, Dr Mujahid Yusuf berkata majlis berbuka puasa anjuran Anggota Parlimen Johor Bahru, Akmal Nasrullah Mohd Nasir di Gudwara Shaib pada Selasa lepas tidak sepatutnya menjadi isu kerana tujuan utama penganjuran adalah untuk merapatkan hubungan antara masyarakat berbilang kaum dan agama di negara ini.

Malah, katanya majlis itu diadakan di kawasan dewan dan bukannya dibuat di dalam tempat ibadat itu.


"Ini bukan isu yang perlu diperbesarkan, hanya sesetengah pihak sahaja yang mensensasikan isu agama, pemikiran sempit dan perkauman. Ini dibimbangi akan mewujudkan Islamofobia," katanya dalam sidang media di Pusat Khidmat Anggota Parlimen Parit Buntar hari ini.

Selain itu, Mujahid berkata Islam tidak pernah menghalang mana-mana pihak berlainan agama untuk datang dan memasuki masjid selagi mereka tidak melakukan perkara bertentangan seperti menghina.

Dalam perkembangan lain, Mujahid yang juga Anggota Parlimen Parit Buntar berkata, semua projek pembangunan di sekolah tahfiz dan sekolah pondok di negara ini perlu diselesaikan selewat-lewatnya awal tahun hadapan.

Beliau berkata, kerajaan memperuntuk RM50 juta untuk sekolah tahfiz dan RM25 juta untuk sekolah pondok.

"Kalau ikut Prosedur Standard Operasi (SOP) permohonan sekolah itu hanya diberikan bagi melaksana infrastruktur termasuk untuk keselamatan, kebajikan serta kebersihan dan bukan bagi bantuan gaji atau penganjuran program.

Mengenai tindakan saman oleh penguatkuasa Majlis Daerah Kerian terhadap peniaga di pasar awam Parit Buntar, Mujahid menyifatkannya seolah-olah satu tindakan sabotaj.

"Peniaga di situ untungnya berapa sahaja dan terpaksa bayar saman RM500," katanya yang sebelum itu melawat Pasar Awam Parit Buntar dan Pusat Pengajian Tahfiz Al Hidayah.

Baru-baru ini peniaga di pasar itu disaman RM500 kerana meletakkan sayur di luar premis perniagaan di situ.

Mujahid berkata anggota majlis sepatutnya prihatin dan peka serta tidak membebankan peniaga dalam keadaan ekonomi yang tidak baik sekarang.
